The Nativist is a Scottish essayist, citizen journalist and nationalist commentator whose work explores the foundations of nationhood, identity and political order.

Through essays, long-form analysis, and contemporary commentary, he examines the relationship between people, culture, history, and statecraft.

His work argues that political systems should ultimately serve the long-term interests, continuity and cohesion of the nation they govern.

Known for his analytical and diagnostic approach, The Nativist seeks to move beyond conventional political frameworks. Instead, he focuses on first-principles discussions of sovereignty, demographics, culture and the responsibilities of government.
